Sean performs for all private parties and weddings.
Most wedding receptions are held on weekends which are a prime time for Magicians, so it's best to book as early as possible to avoid disappointment.
Deposits are required by BACS as well to secure your booking. Sean can travel anywhere in the UK. He is more than happy to meet up with both the Bride and Groom (at no extra cost!) - prior to performing at your wedding. - This way you can discuss your special day further. Sean could meet you at your chosen venue and familiarise himself with the layout and would be happy to liaise with events coordinator. He will also do a small magic demo during this meeting, If this isn't possible Sean would be happy to have a video call via Zoom/Teams or Whatsapp.
Why book a Magician at your wedding?
Having a Magician at a wedding performing Close Up magic at a bar, mix and mingling in the crowd, pre-wedding breakfast during drinks, whether it is between courses going from table to table or after courses is a great ice breaker to get both different sides of the family interacting and laughing together. Magic can be perform during the photo session as well.
In every wedding there are two sides of a family, from different backgrounds, sometimes cultural or ethnic, many who have never even met before, so what better way to enjoy your wedding reception by hiring a Magician to act as an ice breaker, which will create a vocal point where by people from both sides of the families can mutually enjoy simultaneously. FAQ's:
1. How long can I book a Close Up Magician for, at my wedding?
A standard wedding (most popular!), Is an attendance of between 80-100 guests and for this amount attending, a minimum of 2 hours of magic is recommended to ensure all the assembled party are entertained. Times can be split up as well.
2. There will be children at our wedding, do you have anything suitable for children?
Like most weddings there will be children. So therefore, Sean will always ensure there is Magic suitable for children of all age groups.
3. Does Sean have any Public Liability Insurance?
Sean has full Public Liability Insurance of up to £10,000,000 through Equity Union and can provide a certificate upon request.
4. How much does will it cost to book a close up magician for my wedding?
Depending on location, duration, time of the year and number of guests Sean's costs may vary. So please contact the Magical Moon (Sean) to discuss your special occasion further with more details and he will happily provide you with a specific fee.
5. Does Sean accept cash or cheque for payment?
Sean doesn't accept cheque and will only accept cash on rare, extreme occasions. Sean prefers BACS payment to solve delay and the hassle of going to bank and cashing it in. Please note - Clients received get a pro-forma invoice with booking reference for their records.
COVID-19 FAQ's:
1. Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic I would like to know if social distancing magic is available in line with National Government guidelines? If so, what's the cost?
Sean can provide 30 minutes of 2 metres socially distanced Magic outdoors (unmasked or masked) without any physical interaction with your guests or contact with props at a slightly reduced fee. It would be a completely contactless show which will be entertaining. Sean will perform strolling around whilst maintaining social distancing or stationary with his close up mat whilst you are seated, depending on the nature of your event.
2. Can Sean perform with a face mask? Has he been vaccinated?
As from October 2021, Sean has been fully vaccinated and had his booster as well and can provide a vaccine certificate if necessary. But be rest assured, Sean also has full access to PPE, (surgical gloves, sanitizers, face masks/face shields etc).
Sean will ensure hygiene is kept to it's highest level of standards at all times whilst he is performing at your event.
Sean also has full access to lateral flow testing kit and will happily do a lateral flow test before your event.
The Sean will perform inexplicable top quality tricks and illusions right beneath your very eyes and make your company function all that more Entertaining and Memorable.
He can also provide outstanding magic acts for your trade show or promotional event and is guaranteed to attract more potential clients to your stand or booth. - Whether is an opening of a new store, cafe, bar or restaurant.
Sean will ensure he will meet and greet new clients, thus attract more potential clients to your stand, provide them with information about your company business and raise your company name, by promoting potential products whilst adding a touch of top quality magic.
It would make your stand seem busier and no doubt attract more clients.
If you're opening a new restaurant or cafe bar - Sean will ensure your customer/clients will remember your new restaurant and or cafe bar.
People will never forget where the magic happened at and happier customers/clients will stay longer and will more than likely come back. Which is what you would want at your new Launch day, Promotional event or Trade Show.
Sean will also promote your event as well. As with all events - Sean would be more than happy to meet up with you prior to your event to discuss your event further, where you can see a demo too - at no extra cost!).
CHARITY EVENTS
Charity or Fundrasing Events are a worthy cause and therefore are special occasions whereby Sean will entertain your guests wherever your event is held at.
Sean does magic for Fete's and Village Fairs and even a mini Cabaret. Sean can also perform from Women's Institutes - If it's held at a village hall, Sean can also set up a stand and do Cabaret.
